Description

The CFM5x00 is a high performance crimp force analyzer with developed trace functions. OES’s proven and patented CDA algorithms are applied to the force signature of every wire crimp produced for effective discrimination of crimp defects. Integrated automatic target recalculation (ATR) tracks the process trend and further optimizes the CPM5000 for optimal performance and defect detection while minimizing unnecessary scrap. An unlimited number of parameters for critical terminal wire combinations can be optionally stored by part number and are easily recalled through the touch screen interface. An optional bar code scanner provides further error proofing and automation of the changeover process. All relevant information is graphically displayed with a simple touch access to process trends, performance metrics, scrap rate, and production counts.
