Welding systems for connecting of magnet wires without removing the insulation / enamel
The hot-crimping process is used in the field of medicine, automotive (hybrid and electric vehicles) as well as in motor and generator production.
STRUNK offers a special technology in combination with flexible resistance welding systems that can connect magnet wires in a reliable process by material locking without removing the insulation first.
The hot crimping process evaporates the insulation of each individual enameled copper wire without affecting the copper in any way. The evaporated enamel escapes and the insulation vapors are removed by an extraction unit. All the connections have excellent mechanical and electrical properties. Non-contacted individual wires, slip effects or later failure through oxidation on account of contact resistance, temperature, vibration and environmental influences are thus a thing of the past.
